Green on the Cheap!

I just found the perfect blog for me — The Green Cheapskate! So many people balk at going green because of the feared expense involved. Although I admit that some greener options are more expensive, at least right now while demand is relatively low, many greener options are actually cheaper than their wasteful or toxic counterparts.

For example, green cleaning materials such as vinegar and baking powder are cheaper than the chemical varieties. Also, buying less and being more conscious of wastefulness in your life saves lots of money! You can use all the savings to buy the green items that are more expensive now, such as organic produce and green home improvement and building materials.
